Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy outlines the guidelines for cancellations and refunds related to pujas, consultations, and product purchases on the Upaai platform.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of the cancellation relative to the scheduled service:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled puja or consultation: 100% refund of the service amount
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled puja or consultation: 50% refund of the service amount
  • Cancellations after the puja or consultation has started: No refund will be provided

Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a refund request through your account or by contacting our customer support
  2. Our team will review your request based on the cancellation policy
  3. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  4. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase

Special Circumstances

We understand that special circumstances may arise. The following situations may qualify for a full refund regardless of timing:

  • Technical issues on our platform that prevent service delivery
  • Service not provided as described or significant quality issues
  • Unavailability of pandit or temple for the scheduled service

Exceptions

Please note the following exceptions to our refund policy:

  • Customized pujas or services that have been specifically prepared for you
  • Physical prasad items that have already been dispatched
  • Digital content or e-books that have been downloaded or accessed
